Mothers Day & Upcoming Tutorials

Hey Everyone!!

I had a great Mothers day! Spent the day over at one of our families house and had a BBQ with Jello shots and fun in the sun!  It was a gorgeous day!  I got Beautiful flowers from AB and "The Man"  I wanted to put them in something other than a pretty vase so of course I found a Mason jar out in the garage that "The Man had screws in and washed it up and tied some Hash twine around it and wah-la!

I also got the New iPad as a gift from my wonderful husband!  Mostly because I think "The Man" wanted my old one.  I had a 32GB First generation and I told him if I ever got a new one he could have it.  But I'm Not complaining!  I Love it and I've already been reading like crazy on it.  The Visuals are just crazy clear!  I'm currently reading the "Divergent Trilogy" and LOVE LOVE LOVE it!  If you loved the Hunger Games you will love Divergent!  Heres a link to the book for download! I'm already on the Second book that just came out the beginning of May. So go check it out!

I've been working on some really exciting tutorials coming to the blog later this week!!  Here is what you have to look forward to!

AB's Sesame Street Birthday Bash

Hey Everyone!!

I'm so excited to finally show you guys why I have been working hard making so many cute things for AB's party.  I didn't get to put a few things in that I wanted because I just didn't manage my time right.

HOWEVER

I think it turned out better than I had expected and I'm so grateful for everyone that came to share AB's 2nd birthday.  She had a blast and it was well worth all the hard work I put into making just about everything.  I think as the years have gone by my party skills keep getting better as each one surpasses the next. On To THe FUN part.....

Sesame Street Post Sign Tutorial

A Smashing Success

Hey Everyone!

Some of you have been wondering where the Elmo envelope Tutorial went.  I'm not sure what happened to it, however, it's back up and ready for download! :)

AB'S Birthday was a smash success! 

I will get her party pictures put together and make a post out of it soon.  I'm currently editing all the photos that I took! She looked so cute and had so much fun!  Well worth everything I had done for it!

Well Here is the finished project and the tutorial is yet to come later this week so make sure you check back for it! Don't you just Love it!!!  Lot's of hard work we put into it.  And I have to give "The Man" 50% of the credit do to the fact that he put most of it together for me.  It took my plans and my Materials and created just what I had envisioned.  And Yes, IT LIGHTS UP!

AB's Invitations

I'm finally getting over my cold so I have been working hard today to get some things done with AB's invitations.  I have a sneak peek to show you.  

Keep in mind that its just an envelope, but at least it's a cute one!!  Hopefully I will get some more photo's up this week with tutorials on  "The Man's" secret project that he has been working on!  I know you all will just drool with awe!  But until then.... The sniffles & What's to come!

Hey everyone!  

So a lot has been going on in the last couple of days.  For starters both "The Man" and I  have colds.  AB had a tiny one earlier this past week but she seems to be doing just fine.    Also, I have been working on AB's 2nd birthday.  Getting all my pins from Pinterest organized so I can start working on all my projects and a few we've already started.  "The Man" has put an idea into a reality this past weekend and it's almost ready for paint!

I will post a tutorial on most of the projects we are creating to make AB's birthday a hit.  The theme: Sesame Street, The date, at the very end of the month! EEKK! I was going to start the invites tonight so I can get them out next week, however we got interrupted by a sales person.  She was sweet so we enjoyed her time.  Plus we got a free gift to listen in.  Towards the end I was sold till I saw the price YIKES!  I love me a good vacuum, but $4,000, come on!!  Then "The Man" decided to see if he could get her hired at his company because she is currently in the Army Guard!  Awe, he's such a softy when it comes to the military! LOVE HIM!

I have a really exciting tutorial coming up once "the man" is finished with the drilling!! ;)  He has turn the idea of a Sesame Street St post into a reality!  IT lights up and every thing.  It seems to be a pretty popular theme as far as birthdays go.  I've been seeing it pop up all over Pinterest!  I just know AB is in love, so there for it's a must!
